Facebook-owned WhatsApp has inaugurated a beta update for Android.
The portal said WhatsApp has asked some of its users to start adopting the new terms of service.
The portal said, "Accepting these new terms will not change your WhatsApp experience: your chats, messages, calls, and status updates are still kept secret from end to end.
The multi-device feature, an important update, is currently not available to all users on WABetainfo.
This new feature will allow users to use WhatsApp on multiple devices without the need for an active Internet connection on the main device.
"WhatsApp is evaluating offering a public beta for the WhatsApp web to allow the user to have a new experience using WhatsApp without having to connect your phone," it said. "
Nevertheless, no official release date has been proclaimed for the feature.
